Kushal Sapkota and Amrit Gaire Win the School Election for 2081!

On Basiakh 28, 2081, Shining English Secondary School held elections for school captain and vice-captain. Students interested in the positions nominated themselves beforehand. Following the usual election process, candidates delivered speeches and interacted with their peers through conversations and discussions the day before the vote.

On election day, students lined up and cast their ballots for their preferred candidates. After all votes were submitted, a careful vote count took place, overseen by the Election Commissioner and the assistants.

The Election Committee announced Kushal Sapkota (Grade 9) and Amrit Gaire (Grade 8) as the clear winners for school captain and vice-captain, respectively. Amrit Subedi (Grade 8) was the sole opposing candidate for captain, while Monika Century (Grade 9) and Arpana Sharma (Grade 8) challenged for the vice-captain position.

Mrs. Indira Chapagain, the school’s vice principal, congratulated the winning candidates and expressed her hope for a productive term under their leadership. Kushal Sapkota and Amrit Gaire expressed their delight at being chosen by their peers and pledged to work collaboratively with the school administration to fulfill their campaign promises.
